2026 ASI Diploma Results: Exceptional Success for UKSA Members

We are proud to announce the results of the 2026 ASI Diploma examinations. Following a period of intensive preparation and a rigorous testing process, six of our members have successfully earned this prestigious international certification.

The ASI Diploma, overseen by the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, is a global benchmark of excellence. It requires candidates to demonstrate a high standard of service, deep knowledge of world viticulture, and proficiency in blind tasting and beverage management.

We are pleased to recognize the following achievements:

Gold Award

The highest level of certification, requiring a minimum score of 75%:

  • Wilem Powell – Head Sommelier, BiBi

  • Gonzalo Lint – Assistant Head Sommelier, BiBi

  • Roman Barina – Head Sommelier, Rosewood London

  • Daniel Pereyra – Assistant Head Sommelier, Bonheur by Matt Abé

Silver Award

  • Nikolaos Emner – Head Sommelier, Coworth Park

Bronze Award

  • Fabrizio Coronel – Sommelier, Core by Clare Smyth

These results reflect the significant discipline and dedication required to meet international standards. We congratulate all six candidates on their professional advancement and their continued contribution to the standards of excellence within the UK sommelier community.
