2026 ASI Diploma Results: Exceptional Success for UKSA Members

We are proud to announce the results of the 2026 ASI Diploma examinations. Following a period of intensive preparation and a rigorous testing process, six of our members have successfully earned this prestigious international certification.

The ASI Diploma, overseen by the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, is a global benchmark of excellence. It requires candidates to demonstrate a high standard of service, deep knowledge of world viticulture, and proficiency in blind tasting and beverage management.

We are pleased to recognize the following achievements:

Gold Award

The highest level of certification, requiring a minimum score of 75%:

  • Wilem Powell – Head Sommelier, BiBi

  • Gonzalo Lint – Assistant Head Sommelier, BiBi

  • Roman Barina – Head Sommelier, Rosewood London

  • Daniel Pereyra – Assistant Head Sommelier, Bonheur by Matt Abé

Silver Award

  • Nikolaos Emner – Head Sommelier, Coworth Park

Bronze Award

  • Fabrizio Coronel – Sommelier, Core by Clare Smyth
