The UK Sommelier Academy is delighted to partner with the Interprofession des Vins de Bergerac et Duras (IVBD) to invite our community of sommeliers, wine buyers, and hospitality professionals to a dedicated tasting and masterclass discovery in central London.
Set along the Dordogne river, the neighbouring regions of Bergerac and Duras remain one of Southwest France’s most dynamic yet undervalued treasure troves. Offering an extraordinary mosaic of terroirs, grape varieties, and expressions, this trade-only gathering provides an ideal platform to taste alongside visiting producers, discover compelling additions for restaurant wine lists, and gain deeper insight into terroirs producing everything from mineral, zesty dry whites and food-friendly reds to the botrytised sweet wines of Monbazillac.
Alongside an open walkaround producer tasting, the day features two focused, seated masterclasses hosted by Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW.
